The German-Dutch group Wilma anticipates the development of projects in the Costa del Sol with an invested value of 130 million euros. The View, an ambitious development of more than 120 luxury apartments in Benahavís that already has its construction permit, will be the first project Marbella, April 2nd 2019- Wilma Europe Holding, a real estate development group with 79 years of experience in the real estate sector and more than 100,000 properties in Germany, Holland, Belgium and the USA, touches down in Spain thanks to the construction company Sierra Blanca Global to promote distinct luxury property projects in the Costa del Sol. The first of these, The View, which already has its planning permission and whose construction will begin in two months, entails an investment of 120 million euros. Under the name Wilma Sierra Blanca, the joint venture makes its debut in Spain with the acquisition of approximately 50,000m2 of land in the area of Benahavís, where The View will be built. An ambitious project of more than 120 luxury apartments with a spa, pools, gardens and an exclusive 24 hour concierge service. But what distinguishes the project is its impressive panoramic views thanks to the circular glass design of the apartments, into which exclusive solar protection technology will be incorporated to ensure both comfort inside and energy saving. For the architectural design of The View, they have had to bear in mind each criteria of construction, engineering and amenities, from decoration to home automation, in order to achieve total integration from the start. The View also boasts an A-B energy certificate, the most efficient on offer. With all of this, Wilma Sierra Blanca is looking to set a benchmark in the construction and luxury property development sector in the Costa del Sol. The properties have a starting price of 609,000 euros and they are aimed at Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and particularly Belgian and German buyers, who in recent years have shown particular interest in the Costa del Sol. The first Real Estate Project The initial investment of Wilma Sierra Blanca in the Costa del Sol will have a final market value of 130 million euros, and will generate 250 job opportunities in the area during seasonal peak periods, a figure that doubles if indirect employment is included. The launch date is predicted to be spring 2021, although there are already numerous reservations made by northern and central Europeans interested by the climate, the services and the connections that the Costa del Sol boasts. The price of the properties ranges from 600,000 to 2.5 million euros. The View will be the first of Wilma Sierra Blanca’s real estate projects to be developed in prime areas of southern Spain, a destination that is becoming increasingly preferred by central Europeans. As part of an ambitious expansion plan, the board of directors is studying other projects for future investments. Pedro Antonio Rodríguez, managing partner of Sierra Blanca Global and Wilma Sierra Blanca, stated that “Wilma comprises of a total of 300,000 projects and a history of 450,000m2 of constructed land, and our synergy with Sierra Blanca Global signifies a strategic step for our diversification into the luxury property sector in Spain.” Also he has highlighted that both of these companies and Wilma Europe Holding “are very aligned, as they share the same values and it is for that, with the creation of Wilma Sierra Blanca, we are shaping long term prospects and are convinced that we will establish fruitful relations with new alliances in the sector.” About Wilma Europe Holding: Founded in 1939, it occupies second place in the 2015 Bulwiengesa Project Development rankings, after its German subsidiary, Wilma Inmobilien. With an annual sales volume of 350 million euros, a portfolio of 2,000 million euros and more than 150 employees, the company specialises in sustainable residential projects that are top quality in every step of the project, from the property acquisition, planning and construction coordination, to the turnkey delivery. About Sierra Blanca Global: With over 10 years of experience, Sierra Blanca global is characterised by its offer of a high quality luxury property construction service in the Costa del Sol, at the forefront of innovation and technology, counting on infrastructure and experience to manage multiple property developments each with their own team. It forms a part of a group of businesses that includes Sismo Building Technology, a pioneer in construction technology in Spain, whose care for the environment and energy efficiency give them a clear conscience.

This initiative, organised by NVOGA, is the first of its kind to be held in Marbella and is generating a large amount of support and interest. Marbella, April 1st, 2019: This year, for the first time NVOGA has organised the First Charity Padel Tournament aimed at the Real Estate Sector. The official presentation of the event was held this morning, in the Town Hall of Marbella. Presiding at this event was the Lieutenant Mayor of Las Chapas, Carlos Alcalá, office manager at NVOGA, María José Jiménez, the representative of the Association Building the Future, Ángela Sánchez Tamayo, and the tournament organiser and Director General of NVOGA José Carlos León. During the presentation, Carlos Alcalá highlighted the importance of these private initiatives that promote sport while at the same time aid charitable causes, urging people to participate: ¨This is a unique initiative, and it highlights that Marbella is a charitable city.¨ José Carlos León, the General Director of NVOGA, said that he wanted to get together all those who work in the various avenues of the real estate sector here on the coast. ¨We want to thank all our donors, sponsors and donors who have wanted to take part and assist in this tournament.¨ Furthermore, he added that as the tournament has created such wide support that the decision has been made to open up the entries for everyone instead of just those associated with the real estate sector. Next year the tournament will be held in El Higuerón, in Fuengirola and the following year it will be held in Estepona. The tournament will be held on April 5th, 6th and 7th in the Racket Club of Los Monteros. So that everyone can participate there will be various categories: 2a, 3a and 4a masculine, 3a and 4a feminine and mixed A and B. Entries can be made through www.padelmanager.com or by sending an email to info@nvoga.com. The inscription price is €20. Over the course of the weekend various different activities are being held. On Friday the 5th from 10am a real estate day has been organised. Talks will be given on the evolution of the real estate market, marketing novelties using the latest tools, the latest construction techniques and the newest trends in decorating and architecture. Furthermore, on the morning of Saturday the 6th a friendly football game will be played, “Spain vs. the World”, which has generated a lot of interest and carries high expectations. Various other fun family-based games will be played over the weekend. All the money raised is being donated to the Centro de Atención a la Diversidad Infantil, and the Association Building the Future in Uganda, to assist them in the various aid programs that they are currently operating. The president of CADI, Ángela Sánchez Tamayo explained how the funds that are raised will go towards a program of Equine Therapy, an activity that the children love, the relationship and interaction with the horses being hugely beneficial for them. She also said that a specially adapted padel match will be played during the tournament with the children of the association. ¨The funds raised will be used to help build the new school in Kasese so that more children can be enrolled, along with water tanks in which to store drinking water as well as a small football field as the children love to play this sport.¨ Explained María José Jiménez about the Association Building The Future. The First Charity Padel Tournament has been supported by public institutions such as the Marbella Town Hall, as well as by many private companies and institutions such as: By Urbania Internacional, Pedro Peña, Alquimia, Neinor Homes, Fundación Vía Célere, ASG Homes, Volvo Vypsa, Dazia Capital Darya Homes, Roche Bobois, Kronos Homes, Manzanares lawyers, MBC Arquitectos, Ambience by Andrea Böck, TM Grupo Inmobiliario, Aedas Homes, La Albaida, Bulthaup Marbella, Malashpina, Marie-Noëlle Comunicación and Cadena Ser who is the official broadcasting station for the tournament. NVOGA is giving out prizes for the winners, ranging from a dinner for two, an excursion by boat, sports equipment, a spa day for two people, luxury food hampers, home decoration, to name but a few. Additionally, each player will be given a welcome pack at the start of the tournament. ABOUT BUILDING THE FUTURE: The Association Building the Future was started by María José Jiménez, Office Manager of NVOGA, to help the children of Uganda go to school through the Rwenzori Child Care program. Secondary school is incredibly expensive in Uganda, and few children are able to attend unless their families have a high economic income or receive external help. María José saw this problem in one of the rural schools close to Kasese, Rwenzori Focus Primary School, where 170 children from the area were enrolled. The torrential rains had destroyed the main school building, inciting María José to come up with the idea to try and raise funds to help with the construction of the new school. Building the Future was born out of this need to help facilitate and provide schooling and education for children in these rural areas of Uganda. Donations can be done through this bank account: ES49 0081 7460 6700 0304 9209 ABOUT CENTRO DE ATENCIÓN A LA DIVERSIDAD INFANTIL de MARBELLA: This is a small charitable association in Marbella made up of families, children and youths who suffer from any type of handicap, whether it be physical, intellectual or sensorial. Their main objective is to have the funds available so that they can offer resources, therapies and aid to those families who need it. They offer a complete program of activities, ranging from therapeutic to sporting and social, which are always aimed at the needs of each individual. Sport is the most successful method through which these objectives are obtained.

Marbella August 2, 2018.- The Golden Mile has long been a favoured international destination since the 60s, when it became a resting place for the European elite. Its exceptional location has allowed the housing demand to prosper, even during the worst years of the crisis. When the crisis passed, Engel & Völkers recognised the new profile of international buyers, in order to offer them ‘The Collection’, a product 100% adapted to their needs, which was presented this morning at a press conference. “The Golden Mile has always been the most prestigious address for a second home for the European clientele. However, in recent years we see a new trend of younger clientele with an average age between 35 and 55 years old, who are searching for a modern style, contemporary design and the latest trend of material and amenities, of course in the best locations on The Golden Mile preferably around the vibrant Puente Romano Resort.” explains Smadar Kahana, CEO of Engel & Völkers Marbella. This indicates a rejuvenation of one of the most exclusive addresses in Marbella of up to twenty years. Therefore Engel & Völkers is very proud to present exclusively The Collection. ‘The Collection’ is a project that meets the demands for new housing construction for this clientele with 26 luxury semi-detached villas that will go under construction on 16th of August. It will be a milestone for this city in view of its recent construction and licensing ups and downs. “Over the past two years, Marbella has lost a lot of investments and now that licensing has been granted, we hope that this promotion will be sold in just a few weeks,” says Kahana. “Most of buyers do not want 20-year-old houses. They are looking for modern, organic designs, integrated into their environment and in the best possible location”, she continues. “At this moment in time there is no similar villa project on the Golden Mile except for The Collection”. In fact, The Collection is located just 400 metres from the celebrated Hotel Puente Romano and a short walk from the Mediterranean Sea – it is at the epicentre of everything an international investor is looking for. Built with the highest quality materials, from the prestigious architecture firm González Jacobson who use natural materials such as wood and stone in order to give a feeling of warmth to these semi-detached villas, which are 4,000 square meters, built on plots of 8,000 that is going to be built by the prestigious company San José Construcciones. In recent years, clientele from central and northern Europe have taken precedence in comparison to other nationalities such as Arabs or Russians. Belgians, Germans, British, Norwegians or Swedes are the main buyers of luxury homes according to the internal study of Engel & Völkers. To achieve the supply for this demand in the best locations in Marbella the goal should be: homes with the best qualities, close to all services in price ranges ranging between 500,000 and 1.000,000 euros for apartments and 1.000,000 and 2.500,000 euros in the case of villas. ‘The Collection’ will have a market value of 30 million euros, with prices from 1,125,000 euros. A unique investment opportunity given the scarcity of plots in this coveted corner of Marbella. About Engel & Völkers Engel & Völkers is one of the world’s leading service companies specialising in the intermediation of luxury residential properties, commercial real estate, yachts and aircraft.

The American College in Spain becomes the International Transfer Center of Broward College The agreement was signed by Melissa Butler, the founder of The American College in Spain, and J. David Armstrong Jr., the President of Broward CollegeMarbella, May 12th, 2017: The President of Broward College, J. David Armstrong Jr., and the founder of The American College in Spain (ACS), Melissa Butler, have signed this morning an agreement establishing ACS as an ‘International Transfer Center of Broward College’, coinciding with the celebration of The Broward College Word Conference in Marbella. Through this agreement, when students enrol in Marbella, they will automatically be enrolled in Broward College, allowing them or her to transfer directly to other institutions in the United States after finishing a two-year degree. Broward has established partnerships of this kind in several countries including those represented at the World Conference. Butler said that: ¨It an incredibly important agreement for us as after four years of offering an American education in Spain, we are now formally recognisable as an international center for Broward College, meaning students are registered as being a part of Broward College in Florida, without any need for proof of affiliation. After two years here, with the cost of education not being as high, the student finishes their degree in the United States¨. Not long ago Marbella had no university and Spanish students went to Malaga, but those coming from international schools had to travel to England or remain in their home country´, she explains. ¨What´s more, many young foreign athletes come to Marbella to train which, thanks to this agreement, they are now able to do as they can apply for scholarships from American Universities offered to athletes. Armstrong highlighted the fact that ¨Many similarities exist between Marbella and our home town, Miami, something I discovered on my first visit to the city, and now we can add to this, as the American College in Spain becomes and international center as in this city students will receive the same American education that is available in so many other countries around the world, which are represented here as they take part in the Broward College World Conference.¨An agreement that marks and educational milestone for the municipality that was represented by Ricardo Lopez, advisor responsible for the tax office of the City Hall of Marbella who thanked the American College in Spain and Brower College for choosing Marbella for their educational offer. ¨One of the best things that Marbella has, and the thing that distinguishes it from other cities is that it offers extra services across all fields, and now amongst these extra services, college education at the highest level¨, he explained. Elías Bendodo, president of Turismo Costa del Sol, was unable to attend the meeting, however, wanted to offer a message of support. In the words of the president of Turismo Costa del Sol, “it is a proud moment for the province of Malaga to be hosting Broward College´s World Conference”. In any case, it has reaffirmed the Costa del Sol´s place “as a destination open to all cultures, by means of its enormous cultural and educational offers that makes each citizen feels at home”, as well as highlighted the ability of the province to host events of this esteem, “thanks to the extraordinary and growing infrastructure in matters of congregations and meetings that the Costa del Sol has”.

The American College in Spain becomes the International Transfer Center of Broward College

The agreement was signed by Melissa Butler, the founder of The American College in Spain, and J. David Armstrong Jr., the President of Broward College
Marbella, May 12th, 2017: The President of Broward College, J.

Armstrong highlighted the fact that ¨Many similarities exist between Marbella and our home town, Miami, something I discovered on my first visit to the city, and now we can add to this, as the American College in Spain becomes and international center as in this city students will receive the same American education that is available in so many other countries around the world, which are represented here as they take part in the Broward College World Conference.¨
An agreement that marks and educational milestone for the municipality that was represented by Ricardo Lopez, advisor responsible for the tax office of the City Hall of Marbella who thanked the American College in Spain and Brower College for choosing Marbella for their educational offer.

The project, which now has a licence for Phase 1 and is in accordance with the PGOU of Ojén, will be situated just 4 minutes from the La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella Marbella, November 30th 2016: Today marked the presentation of the luxury housing development Palo Alto. The meeting began at 9.30am and included a breakfast which went on until midday, with the press conference itself taking place at 10am. Round Hill Capital, a leading global real estate investment firm, is the developer of this project, designed by the prestigious, award winning architects Villarroel Torrico. Founded in 2002, Round Hill Capital has a proven track record in the acquisition and development of luxury properties. It has invested over 6 billion euros in European Real Estate assets and has developed over 100,000 residential apartments in Europe. Round Hill Capital is currently one of the largest landlords in the Netherlands and CEE region, and in addition owns and operates Nido Student Living, one of Europe’s fastest growing and leading student housing companies. José Antonio Gómez Sánchez, mayor of Ojén and Matías Villarroel, architect and developer, travelled to the site to give the presentation their support. Gómez described Palo Alto as an important project not only for Ojén, but for the whole of the Costa del Sol, due to the fact that “it will invigorate the area, both socially and economically”. He also talked about the team of architects and developers, praising them for their professionalism and the quality of their work. Villarroel, for his part, alluded to Palo Alto’s slogan: ´Naturally Modern Living´, which, according to his presentation, is something that “reflects exactly what we wanted to achieve with this development”. In addition, he explained the reason behind the name Palo Alto. It was chosen in honour of the Pinsapo tree, a native species in the area that will surround the development. Located on the outskirts of the Ojén, this new real estate development will be built on 50 hectares, of which 40% will be comprised of green open space. Palo Alto’s location makes an immediate impression, offering panoramic views of the sea and mountains, all of which can be enjoyed just 4 minutes away from the La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella. The project, which is in accordance with the PGOU (the municipal town planning agreement) of Ojén, now has a building licence and construction will begin next month. With building work planned between January 2017 and autumn 2018, Phase 1 of the 6 phases planned in total for Palo Alto will be made up of 60 apartments of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, and 15 penthouses of 3 and 4 bedrooms, all in a tranquil environment surrounded by nature. Additionally, the master plan includes a Health Club for Phase 1, comprised of a state-of-the-art gym, spa, swimming pool, and kids’ club. It also includes a business centre with a concierge service, plus 24-hour security, giving the development a private and exclusive feel. These state-of-the-art apartments vary in price from 440,000 to 1 million euros. The total investment is projected at 250 million euros, taking into account land development, infrastructure and construction, and will generate hundreds of direct and indirect jobs. Palo Alto is quickly establishing itself as an ideal destination for those already attracted to the area, something which is attested to by the fact that 50% of Phase 1 homes have been sold in just 4 months. The buyers to date come from 16 countries including Europe (with a high proportion from Germany and Belgium), North and South America and the Middle East. Nearly half are aged 50-60, with 40% in the 40-50 age range. The majority either have older children or are empty-nesters and are professionals from business, finance, medical and design sectors. In terms of preference, the buyers are mainly purchasing as a second home for holidays or to rent out, with a smaller percentage buying as a first home.
