With an average occupancy rate of 90% during the summer, the recently inaugurated Club Med Magna Marbella is already a success. The next months already reach 80% average occupancy until the end of the year 2022. Marbella, September 9th, 2022 – More than 300 guests from many countries around the world gathered at the inauguration event of Club Med Magna Marbella yesterday evening, September 9th. The event was attended by the Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, as well as the French Ambassador to Spain, Jean Michel Casa, and other authorities. “The continuous increase in our bookings confirms the appeal of Club Med and the attractiveness of Marbella for our clients, and we are committed to contributing to the development of tourism in this beautiful region,” says Henri Giscard d’Estaing, President of Club Med. Club Med and Spain have a strong emotional link since the first day of its creation, in 1950 when the concept was born in Alcudia, Balearic Islands. The return to Spain therefore carries emotional weight, as the country is undoubtedly etched in Club Med’s history. “The region of Andalusia is recovering from the years of crisis and I am glad that with the opening of Club Med Magna Marbella we can contribute to the growth of the region. Our culture, our hospitality and our food are incredible and we are delighted to share them with local and international tourists” says Jihad Megharief, President of Magna Hotels & Resorts, the group that owns the hotel. After 2 years of crisis, clients from Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, England, Holland have decided that it was time to travel again and have been seduced by the tranquility, premium services, all-inclusive offer and the conviviality that Club Med offers. Speaking of the Spanish market in particular, “we are expected to increase by 162% our turnover in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period last year” says Rabeea Ansari, General Manager for Southern Europe and Emerging Markets. “We capture on average 64% of new customers in Spain and we have observed that once they are hooked on the Club Med product and offer, they become loyal” complements Ansari. The Resort Located in the Spanish region of Andalusia, at the foot of the Sierra Blanca, Club Med’s new 4 trident (4 star) family resort sprawls over 14 hectares of colorful gardens and terraces. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and within walking distance of the bustling city of Marbella, the resort is an unparalleled oasis of unspoiled greenery and lush flora. Tradition with a touch of modernity is a theme that shows throughout the architecture and design of the complex. The property was designed with an indoor-outdoor concept that combines with vibrant décor inspired by the art, culture and nature of Marbella. The variety within the 485 rooms is ideal for every type of traveler, from families and couples to solo tourists and large groups. Each of the Deluxe, Superior and Family suites exudes a playful ambiance inspired by the region and surrounding landscape. The resort’s two restaurants and three bars offer unlimited culinary experiences, carefully selected to showcase the region’s local food and drink. The main restaurant “Sueños” is located at the heart of the resort, while the “Tierra Gourmet Lounge” welcomes guests throughout the day with a lively bar, wine cellar and gourmet snack bar ideal for Spanish wine tastings, happy hour, live music and tapas. As part of Club Med’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, the resort has enabled the creation of more than 300 direct jobs, more than half of which have been filled by local hiring, as well as 140 indirect local jobs. Following its opening, Magna Marbella aims to obtain Green Globe certification for a sustainable hotel operation. As part of the brand’s “Happy to Care” program, nearly 95% of Club Med resorts have obtained this green certification, which is renewed annually. In line with that commitment, the resort is also equipped with solar panels that will supply the energy needed to heat water, as well as a rainwater collection and treatment system that will be used to irrigate the gardens. An additional attraction for the local population is the Day Pass, which allows guests in the area to enjoy all that Club Med Magna Marbella Resort has to offer without staying overnight with an all-inclusive premium day pass. With the acquisition of this option, those interested have the use included to its three bars and two buffet restaurants, as well as its a la carte restaurant within the establishment. In addition, they can enjoy its five indoor and outdoor pools (including the Zen pool), sun loungers, gym with fitness and yoga classes, tennis and paddle tennis courts with equipment included, archery, mini-golf, flying trapeze and live shows and music. Activities A stay at Club Med Magna Marbella includes more than 25 sports and activities, such as Zen yoga, aerial fitness, golf, flying trapeze, archery, beach volleyball and paddle tennis (indigenous to Marbella). Guests can also take a dip in one of five pools, including an indoor freshwater pool, the main lagoon pool, an adults-only Zen pool, a dedicated children’s pool for kids’ clubs, and a water park area for families. For those looking to relax, the resort’s wellness area includes a Club Med Spa by CINQ MONDES with a steam room, 14 treatment rooms and an exclusive indoor/outdoor relaxation room for added privacy. While adults enjoy wellness experiences, children can write their own vacation stories at Club Med’s award-winning kids’ clubs, which offer a range of customized activities for children and teens ages 4 months to 17 years. Families can also participate in the Club Med Amazing Family program, a fun-filled weekly activity program for families to bond and create lifelong memories. Among the resort’s plethora of family activities are “must-do experiences,” which include paddle tennis tournaments, a stroll through nearby Pueblos Blancos, an Andalusian garden party with unlimited sangria, tapas and wine, and spending the day in the Family Fun Zone, which features […]

Otero Group entrusts the A-CERO architecture studio with its new luxury residential project in Marbella ‘The Secret’: a complex of 34 luxury villas in El Real de La Quinta valued at more than €100M The renowned architect Joaquín Torres will carry out the project of the most exclusive villa, which will occupy the three best plots of the land and will be fully customizable With this exclusive project, Otero Group is securing itself within luxury residentials with homes worth more than €4M Málaga, 8th October 2021.- A luxurious and a sustainable lifestyle seem like the key factors that will define the next moves in the Real Estate sector. Fortunately, it seems that both of these factors can be found in Marbella, where Otero Group has just announced its new development “The Secret”: a complex made up of thirty-four luxury villas, whose prices range between two and seven million euros. The renowned architect Joaquín Torres will carry out the project of the most exclusive villa, which will occupy the three best plots of the land and will be fully customizable. In total, the project has an investment of €105M (million euros). The project was announced yesterday afternoon at Los Naranjos Golf Club, with guests such as the Malaga Tourism Delegate, Nuria Rodríguez Cubero; the Mayor of Benahavís, Juan Antonio Mena; Rubén Otero, CEO of Otero Group (promoter of the project) and Joaquín Torres, founding partner of the Madrid studio A-CERO. More than 250 guests attended the event under strict supervision and safety measures, as required by the current health situation. The Project “The Secret” is the chosen name by Otero for their latest project in the Golden Triangle, and it could not be more accurate considering it is a true “real estate secret” hidden in one of the best locations of the Real de La Quinta in Benahavís. There are few places in the world that can offer the quality of life of this area, a fact that is undoubtedly clear to the CEO of Otero Group, Rubén Otero, who highlights “the firm commitment the company has to unique projects in Andalusia, help improve the quality of life of our customers and continue to convert the Costa del Sol into an international benchmark as a destination for residential tourism”. A premium experience, for a unique client “The main objective of Otero Group when promoting its premium promotions is to make the customer feel like an exclusive consumer throughout the entire sales process. You must take the perspective that you are not buying a home, but that you are taking possession of a unique property in that will shape your life scenario. From our company view, we believe that promoters of premium Real Estate have to go beyond the sale of real estate and have to enjoy the unique experience: during and after the purchase”, says Rubén Otero, CEO of Otero Group. Post-pandemic life trends The paradigm shift in consumer habits and post-pandemic work models have caused a transformation in the traditional pyramid of needs of the consumer-buyer of luxury residential products. Those who used to choose Marbella as their second residence are now looking for it to be their main residence. Harmonizing your family life with your professional life is no longer an option, but it has become an aspiration of first necessity, and Marbella has become the best residential destination for families and professionals. “The Secret” was born to meet this demand for a premium residential product on the Costa del Sol, with it being a unique real estate project that was announced today by Otero Group with the trademark of the prestigious architecture studio A-CERO, with Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares at the helm. Project magnitudes With a final investment of 105 million euros, the complex consists of thirty-four luxury villas, whose prices range between two and seven million euros. The renowned architect Joaquín Torres will carry out the project of the most exclusive villa, which will occupy the three best plots of the land and will be fully customizable. Currently, there are already eight villas with a construction license and the works are scheduled to begin in January 2022. “This project is another sign of Otero Groups’ clear commitment to being a benchmark in the premium residential sector of Andalusia and for this particular one, we have entrusted A-CERO, an architecture studio with prestige and richness. We hope that with this project our cardinal alliance with the study of Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares will be just the beginning of a long road full of successes and unique projects together”, says Otero. “We are sure that this project will generate a positive and sustainable impact in the area since this type of promotion helps the Costa del Sol to stand out as an international tribute destination for residential tourism. Likewise, thanks to projects such as “The Secret”, we help promote and stimulate employment in the area. As an example of this generation of employment, it is expected that a total of 800 jobs will be created during the construction phase, until the summer of 2023, the estimated finish date”, highlights the CEO of Otero Group. Potential buyer profile As for the nationality of the buyers, the Scandinavian, Dutch and Belgian public stand out, with an average age of 45. Many of them are drawn to the security that this complex provides, being the second promotion of the Golden Triangle with armed guards, as well as offering the option of warding off the rooms or living room and using steel for blinds or walls. The certainty of safety is undoubtedly an added value with a high emotional component. Each villa has a total of 1,000 meters with access to the services of the Real de La Quinta. By paying for an additional service, The Secret owners will be able to enjoy the facilities of the Lake Golf & Country Club. This club will house a golf course, an artificial beach, and a pool area for non-motorized water […]

The German-Dutch group Wilma anticipates the development of projects in the Costa del Sol with an invested value of 130 million euros. The View, an ambitious development of more than 120 luxury apartments in Benahavís that already has its construction permit, will be the first project Marbella, April 2nd 2019- Wilma Europe Holding, a real estate development group with 79 years of experience in the real estate sector and more than 100,000 properties in Germany, Holland, Belgium and the USA, touches down in Spain thanks to the construction company Sierra Blanca Global to promote distinct luxury property projects in the Costa del Sol. The first of these, The View, which already has its planning permission and whose construction will begin in two months, entails an investment of 120 million euros. Under the name Wilma Sierra Blanca, the joint venture makes its debut in Spain with the acquisition of approximately 50,000m2 of land in the area of Benahavís, where The View will be built. An ambitious project of more than 120 luxury apartments with a spa, pools, gardens and an exclusive 24 hour concierge service. But what distinguishes the project is its impressive panoramic views thanks to the circular glass design of the apartments, into which exclusive solar protection technology will be incorporated to ensure both comfort inside and energy saving. For the architectural design of The View, they have had to bear in mind each criteria of construction, engineering and amenities, from decoration to home automation, in order to achieve total integration from the start. The View also boasts an A-B energy certificate, the most efficient on offer. With all of this, Wilma Sierra Blanca is looking to set a benchmark in the construction and luxury property development sector in the Costa del Sol. The properties have a starting price of 609,000 euros and they are aimed at Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and particularly Belgian and German buyers, who in recent years have shown particular interest in the Costa del Sol. The first Real Estate Project The initial investment of Wilma Sierra Blanca in the Costa del Sol will have a final market value of 130 million euros, and will generate 250 job opportunities in the area during seasonal peak periods, a figure that doubles if indirect employment is included. The launch date is predicted to be spring 2021, although there are already numerous reservations made by northern and central Europeans interested by the climate, the services and the connections that the Costa del Sol boasts. The price of the properties ranges from 600,000 to 2.5 million euros. The View will be the first of Wilma Sierra Blanca’s real estate projects to be developed in prime areas of southern Spain, a destination that is becoming increasingly preferred by central Europeans. As part of an ambitious expansion plan, the board of directors is studying other projects for future investments. Pedro Antonio Rodríguez, managing partner of Sierra Blanca Global and Wilma Sierra Blanca, stated that “Wilma comprises of a total of 300,000 projects and a history of 450,000m2 of constructed land, and our synergy with Sierra Blanca Global signifies a strategic step for our diversification into the luxury property sector in Spain.” Also he has highlighted that both of these companies and Wilma Europe Holding “are very aligned, as they share the same values and it is for that, with the creation of Wilma Sierra Blanca, we are shaping long term prospects and are convinced that we will establish fruitful relations with new alliances in the sector.” About Wilma Europe Holding: Founded in 1939, it occupies second place in the 2015 Bulwiengesa Project Development rankings, after its German subsidiary, Wilma Inmobilien.

The first Real Estate Project

The initial investment of Wilma Sierra Blanca in the Costa del Sol will have a final market value of 130 million euros, and will generate 250 job opportunities in the area during seasonal peak periods, a figure that doubles if indirect employment is included.

Pedro Antonio Rodríguez, managing partner of Sierra Blanca Global and Wilma Sierra Blanca, stated that “Wilma comprises of a total of 300,000 projects and a history of 450,000m2 of constructed land, and our synergy with Sierra Blanca Global signifies a strategic step for our diversification into the luxury property sector in Spain.”

Also he has highlighted that both of these companies and Wilma Europe Holding “are very aligned, as they share the same values and it is for that, with the creation of Wilma Sierra Blanca, we are shaping long term prospects and are convinced that we will establish fruitful relations with new alliances in the sector.”

The coming together of renowned journalists and writers Arcadi Espada and Teodoro León Gross took place in Marbella, where they debated the present day challenges presented by national populism. Marbella, 30th June: Last night a conference on ´National Populism and the Press´ was celebrated, organised the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Spain, marking the start of their 2017 lecture series. The conference was led by distinguished journalists and writers Arcadi Espada and Teodoro León Gross. Both reflected on what is considered to be the most pertinent subject in the world at the moment, especially in the European Union. Both intellectuals debated the results of Brexit, the victory of Trump, Marie Le Pen coming second in the French presidential elections, and the polarisation of politics in Europe, with the resurgence of extreme right movements in countries such as Holland and Greece, all whilst we see extreme left groups consolidating. For the speakers, this affirms that populism is neither a question of rights and lefts nor a question of territory; rather it is a global issue that has arisen as a result of the collapse of the state of well-being. What´s more, during the course of the evening, enjoyed at the home of hostess Remedios Del Río, vice president of the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Spain, the importance of the press was as an essential ally in supporting nationalism and populism was greatly emphasised. These two ideals depend on one another to succeed in the post-truth era ruled by media, in which emotions and beliefs take precedence over objective facts, in public opinion The two journalists discussed all of these questions in a dynamic and intense meeting, perfectly characterising Arcadi Espada´s presenting style. Following interventions, they responded to questions and enquiries by guests, who followed each of the journalists´ words with great interest Drawing to a close, the conference finally came to an end with an informal dinner during which, naturally, guests continued to discuss the different ideas put across during the talks and especially, in relation to the consequences of expansion and consolidation of National Populism for the West. The Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Spain is a non-profit organisation that aims to extend the reach of this prestigious learning establishment, and the academic and institutional world of Spain. With aims to promote cultural interchange, the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Spain organises different activities such as that celebrated last night which forms part of their 2017 lecture series in which points of interest and current affairs are debated at the hands of renowned experts in each of their respected fields. The next meeting will take place in Madrid on the 14th of September. The conference, titled, ´The Role of Intercultural Communication in International Diplomacy´, will be led by Professor Yoav Tenembaun, a teacher who is part of the Diplomacy Program of Tel Aviv University, and supported by ex-minister of Foreign Affairs, Miguel Ángel Moratinos. MN Comunicación were in charge of the invitations and in organising the event.

Marbella, November 11th 2016: this afternoon the auditorium of the Andalucía Lab in Marbella facilitated the ‘International Business Protocol’ course, which was organised by MN Comunicación and taught by Carlos Mohino Granados, who is an expert in this discipline. Mohino is a graduate of Camilo José Cela University of Madrid and has a masters’ degree from the University of Granada. As well as this, he is a member of the house of S.M del Rey and a lecturer at the University of Málaga. The programme covered important points such as the importance of protocol, social and business conduct, as well as the basic rules of etiquette applied to businesses and deals. It serves to highlight here the special focus that has was put on the treatment of clients from other cultures and the keys to closing deals with them successfully. Facts of interest were given out to interact with other nationalities living in the Costa del Sol such as the Russians, English, Germans and Scandinavians, among others, with their different cultural characteristics. And it’s the internationalisation and racial variety that exists in Marbella which means that businesses feel the need to gain knowledge of the different forms of etiquette in accordance with idiosyncrasy and culture, a reason that has led the agency to organise this course. More specifically, the role of women has been investigated in depth in dealing with different cultures, such as Arabic, and in making contact, as in the greeting, an aspect which varies enormously from country to country. In the case of Russians, men and women do not kiss each other in public. However, their traditional greeting is the handshake, and among friends and family they give up to three kisses. Throughout the whole course, the teaching was accompanied by enjoyable and rewarding anecdotes on the speaker’s part, which was a pleasure for all the people who attended. Some x people attended the course, which had the presence of well-known people from the city and from the media, who have praised the information that was taught. For Marie-Noëlle Erize, the director of the agency who organised the course, protocol is a basic discipline that should be followed by not only the high authorities but also intermediaries and the general public. Protocol is what, according to what she highlights, on many occasions the ultimate success of deals depends on. In the next few years MN Comunicación will continue organising numerous workshops with the aim of “making up for the deficiencies that currently in society”, something that “new technologies can’t provide”.
