The exclusive development, which has an investment of 50 million euros and a building permit, has already started the construction of the first phase.

The land with a total of 9346 m2 will provide a green leisure area for the citizens of Marbella, in an area where a public park with all its amenities will be created.

Marbella, May 4th 2021_ It has been 20 years since a residential complex was built in the heart of the Golden Mile, 100m from the sea, and now thanks to Benalús, which has just started construction, all eyes of buyers and investors are on this exclusive area. The prestigious project is being relaunched with a new look, adapting to the latest trends. 

The presentation press conference took place this morning, attended by Felipe Gómez, Manager of Grupo GAILUR, and Smadar Kahana, managing director of Engel & Völkers Marbella.

The long-awaited residential complex of 28 homes, priced from 940,000 to 3 million euros, will involve a total investment of 50 million euros and create around 60 local jobs. With planning permission already granted for the first phase, and work having started just a few days ago, the completion date is expected to take place during the last quarter of 2022. The second phase is already under study for its subsequent execution.

The Benalús development has been launched by the Gailur Group, a prestigious family business group from the Basque Country with more than fifty years in the sector, which is investing in Andalusia for the first time. It should be noted that the construction company Gailur Taldea also belongs to the group, thus guaranteeing the timing and quality of the development. “It is undoubtedly the best showcase at European level and among the best in the world in the field of high-end residential development. This promotion is our first entry into Andalusia as an investment area, but it will not be the last” says Felipe Gómez, manager of Grupo Gailur.

Furthermore, the group has appointed Engel & Völkers Marbella as its exclusive marketing company, which already has a large number of reservations. Despite the increase of national clients in the Costa del Sol’s real estate sector, largely due to the pandemic, it could be said that foreign interest in investing in Marbella’s luxury market is slowly returning. ‘Given the exceptional location of Benalús, we have received enquiries from different countries. 60% of our potential clients are international,’ says Kahana. A buyer profile that is looking for modern buildings with large outdoor areas and the best sunny conditions in a location with easy access to all the services of Marbella centre and Puerto Banús, while maintaining an exclusive setting just a few metres from the beach.
