This emblematic Marbella commercial centre is made up of 120 establishments from more than 20 sectors.

Marbella July 18, 2018.- Centro Plaza Shopping Centre celebrates its 28th anniversary with 100% occupancy. This is great news that attests to the significant evolution of this emblematic Marbella commercial centre that continues to be innovative and pioneer in its combination of shopping, business and leisure after almost three decades. Located in Nueva Andalucía, the centre has retained a distinct international character since its inauguration in 1990 and is the second oldest shopping centre in Marbella and the fourth in the Malaga region.

With more than 20 service sectors in 120 stores, Centro Plaza has completed its capacity with the addition of five new businesses, opening its doors to the Danish firm EMS Body Power, specialised in offering high performance personal training sessions, The View Bar Terrace, a new gastronomic space where you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat with one of the best panoramic views of Marbella, the English fashion firm Temptations Boutique, the Mariami Clinic aesthetic medical centre and the fastest growing real estate agency in the municipality: Elegant Marbella Estates. Leer más

The opening of these companies reinforces the business and leisure offers of the Centre, whose main commercial operator is Supersol Supermarkets located in a local of 1,000 square metres. The centre’s social activity is further bolstered by the Puerto Banús street market, which takes place in and around Centro Plaza which takes place every Saturday from 9am to 2pm and includes almost 100 stalls.

Since its inception, Centro Plaza has been characterised by responding to the needs of its surroundings in Nueva Andalucía and maintaining a close collaboration with the community. Something that has been strongly reinforced this year with the signing of the Agreement with the University of Malaga (UMA) to develop the First Edition of the University Master’s Degree in Retail Marketing next year 2018/19 as a tool for development, innovation and cooperation, with the objective of promoting improvements in the retail sector and Shopping Centres.

“One of our objectives is that Centro Plaza becomes an active part of the development of the Marbella business community. If we want to continue improving, our environment also has to do it. That is why we are committed to cooperation, common development and the generation of synergies, “says manager Carlos García Perujo, showing his participation in the Territorial Work Table of Economic Development of the District of Nueva Andalucía, where work is currently underway to improve and develop the district and where the proposals, regeneration and budgets are discussed and decided. They have also decided strongly on the associationism and are members of Apymespa, Apymen, CIT, Spanish Association of Parks and Shopping Centers and REM.

Centro Plaza´s close relationship and commitment to the community is supported by the presentation this week of the Internal Code of Ethics, a document that aims to provide the best environment, meeting the expectations of the users of Centro Plaza, to provide a centre of leisure and business benchmark for the municipality of Marbella.

All under the principles of transparency, commitment, cooperation, respect, ethics, trust and sustainability.
