Paddle Tournament for the benefit of the Cesare Scariolo Trust

PADDLE TOURNAMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CESARE SCARIOLO TRUST.

Over 200 participated in the Solidarity Paddle Tournament in Marbella. The competition that was organised by the Cesare Scariolo Trust for charity purposes was held at the Nueva Alcántara Paddle and Tennis Club. Braving the intense heat, over 100 pairs participated in the Second Solidary Paddle Tournament in Marbella that was organised by the Cesare Scariolo Trust (FCS) at the Nueva Alcántara Paddle and Tennis Club .

This meant that 50 more had registered for playing in comparison with the first edition of the tournament that took place in July 2009.

As far as sports was concerned, the fine level of players that were divided into four male and female categories and a mixed one should be pointed out. In fact, each of the finals was attended by a numerous crowd, among which locally well-known individuals, such as Ángel Mora, the councillor in charge of the Sports Department at the Marbella City Council or top level sportsmen such as Julen Guerrero, a former footballer, member the Athletic de Bilbao team and the Spanish National Team.
