Marbella 11th of May 2001: The jewelry firm Gómez&Molina presented a new and excepcional initiative designed to raise funds for the Fundacion Cesare Scariolo.

The Project has been dubbed Opturator and has the support of spanish photographer Eduardo Soria, who specialises in fashion and advertising. Soria used his creativity to photgraph the clients and friends of the jewelry boutique and of the malagan NGO, creating origonal portraits characterised by an elaborate use of lighting which gives the photographs character and creating unique images.

Famous names such as Manolo Santana, Pablo Forlán, José Coronada and Pablo Motos, together with many other distinguished figures of the Costa del Sol, let themselves be seduced by the artistic vision of Eduardo Soria. All of the photos from this campaign will be part of an exhibition which will open at the end of this summer. Furthermore, the photographs included will be published as a Collection in a book sold exclusivley by Gomez&Molina.

Miguel Goméz highlighted the philosphy of this initiative saying “We must not forget the high artistic value of these photos”. Moreover the price of the photographs will be much less than thier value, the Marbellan jeweller described this as “an added incentive to work for a good cause”.

However the campaign is already being put into practice, this morning saw the signing of a collaborative contract between the representative of Gomez&Molina, Miguel Gómez, and the president of the Fundación Cesare Scariolo, Sergio Scariolo.

Opturator is the first of many initiatives in which the jewellers plans to colaborate with and raise funds for the FCS. In August, a charity golf tournament will take place and before the end of the year we will see the launch of a bracelet into the market, profits from which will be donated to the charity.
