The Olivares Foundation (www.fundacionandresolivares.org) began its journey in Malaga in 2010, and in 2011 it had its first project underway: the Citizen Participation Room at the Maternal and Child Hospital of Malaga. The room is available to both sick children and their families. The room aims to be a place where you can feel at home, and where the staff of the Foundation and the volunteers take care of the families while they wait for consultations or tests.   Since May 2013, the Andrés Olivares Foundation has its own headquarters with a more ambitious and thorough project that provides comprehensive support to children with cancer and their families. The pillars are: psychological support, physiotherapy, nutrition, Reiki and school support. Social aid is also managed from the headquarters and offers financial support to families with little resources.
