Marbella, 24 de enero de 2018. Hoy, The American College In Spain presentó su nuevo campus, el cual se encuentra en Vasari Business Center. El evento estuvo presidido por la Excelentísima Alcaldesa de Marbella, Doña Ángeles Muñoz, y contó con la presencia de un gran número de periodistas y representantes de la comunidad empresarial de Marbella.

Doña Ángeles Muñoz, junto con la Directora de The American College in Spain, Doña Melissa Butler, inauguraron las nuevas instalaciones de esta prestigiosa Institución Estadounidense. The American College in Spain es un Centro Internacional de Broward College, la quinta universidad más grande de los Estados Unidos. El centro ofrece programas académicos en la Costa del Sol desde hace casi 5 años y más de 50 en todo el mundo.

Durante el evento también se presentó el primer y único Bachillerato (High School) norteamericano de la Costa del Sol. El Programa de Bachillerato, que lleva  funcionando en Marbella casi 2 años, está totalmente homologado y es aceptado  por todas las universidades de los Estados Unidos. La Sra. Muñoz enfatizó la importancia de tener centros como The American College in Spain porque ayudan a atraer estudiantes de todo el mundo y de la región, especialmente durante las temporadas más bajas.

El programa de bachillerato que The American College in Spain ofrece, se lleva a cabo con el apoyo y la homologación del University of Nebraska High School. Gracias a esta homologación, los alumnos pueden completar sus estudios en Marbella y obtener su diploma de estudios secundarios totalmente homologado en los Estados Unidos, lo que les permitirá postularse a cualquier universidad en los EE. UU., Canadá y otros países del mundo.

Después de la presentación, los asistentes pudieron visitar el campus y las nuevas instalaciones. “A pesar de que no tenemos un campus grande, estas son instalaciones del más alto nivel. El aspecto más importante de nuestro centro es que se centra en la excelencia académica, pero también que los estudios están totalmente homologados, y su sistema muy personalizado con un máximo de 16 estudiantes por clase y un profesorado altamente calificado “, declaró Melissa Butler, directora del centro.

Marbella, 24^th January 2018. Today, The American College in Spain, inaugurated its new campus, which is located in La Alzambra, next to Vasari Business Center. The event was presided by the Mayoress of Marbella, Ms. Angeles Muñoz, and it was attended by a large number of journalists from the local media and the business community of Marbella.

Ms. Angeles Muñoz, together with the Campus Director of The American College in Spain, Ms. Melissa Butler, inaugurated the new premises of this prestigious American institution. The American College in Spain is an International Center of Broward College, the 5^th largest university in the US. The center has been offering academic programs in the Costa del Sol for more than 5 years and for nearly 50 around the world.

During the event, the first and only American High School program on the Costa del Sol was introduced. The High School Program, which has been operating in Marbella for 2 years, is fully accepted by universities in the United States.

Ms. Muñoz emphasized the importance of having educational institutions in Marbella such as The American College in Spain, that help attract students from around the world and the region, especially during the low season.

The High School Program, offered by The American College in Spain, is conducted with the support and accreditation of the University of Nebraska High School. Thanks to this accreditation, students can complete their studies in Marbella and obtain their High School Diploma, which will allow them to apply to any university in the US, Canada, or other countries worldwide.

Following the presentation, the attendees were shown around the new premises. “Although we do not have a huge campus, these are state of the art facilities. The most important aspect of our center is that it offers excellence in education, fully accredited studies, a personalized education system with a maximum of 16 students per class, and highly qualified faculty”, declared Melissa Butler, the Campus Director.
