The stars at Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Gala light up the night in Marbella. With over 300 guests, the Gala was the perfect end to the Philanthropic weekend.<\/p>\n

Marbella, 20th<\/sup> August 2012: Last night the Hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe held a dinner with actress and Philanthropist Eva Longoria<\/strong> in benefit to The Eva Longora Foundation<\/strong>, The Cesare Scariolo Foundation<\/strong>, and the Malaga Club de Fútbol Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n More than three-hundred people gathered in a night filled with stars. Many national and internationally known faces walked the red carpet including Eva Longoria<\/strong>, the hostess of honour; Sergio Scariolo<\/strong> the national basketball coach; Julio Baptista<\/strong>, the Malaga Football Club player; actors Amaury Nolasco<\/strong> and Terrence Howard<\/strong>; model and presenter Mar Saura<\/strong>; spiritual leader Deepak Chopra<\/strong>; Models María José Suárez<\/strong> and Sylvie Van der Vaart<\/strong>; María Pineda<\/strong> and the designer, Carolina Toca<\/strong>; Vicente del Bosque<\/strong>, Beatriz Trapota<\/strong>, José Manuel Parada<\/strong>, Ana Fernández<\/strong>, David Meca<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n The evening was organized by Manda events<\/strong>, with Maria Bravo<\/strong> and Alina Peralta<\/strong> and a large team of professionals who created a visually and gastronomically spectacular evening, thanks to the selfless chefs from Marbella, Dani Garcia<\/strong> and Diego Rover<\/strong>. And thanks to the performances of Diana Navarro<\/strong>, Pastora Soler<\/strong>, Chenoa<\/strong> and Diego Amador<\/strong>, who was accompanied during his performance by American actor and singer, Terrence Howard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Global Gift Excellence award, was awarded to Spanish actor, Antonio Banderas<\/strong> and even though he could not attend the Gala for business reasons, he recorded a video message saying thank you for the award and ensuring that he would like “ to take further action with my friend Eva Longoria<\/strong>, to help those in need, in the near future”.<\/p>\n Throughout the night, the organisation wanted to reward the efforts of some of the sponsors by handing our other awards to the Chef Dani Garcia<\/strong>, to the director of the Hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe, Azzam Saas<\/strong> and to Victor Sanchez<\/strong> from Process Cyan, amongst others.<\/p>\n The guests also had the chance to participate in different auctions led by David Meca<\/strong> and there were brilliant things on offer:<\/strong> a painting by Antonio Montiel<\/strong>, a weekend at a spa, a range of beauty products from Morlote Lorena<\/strong>, a trip abroad with the Malaga Football Club, a deluxe jewellery package by Gómez & Molina<\/strong>, a five day retreat with Deepak Chopra, a shopping trip in London with Eva Longoria<\/strong> including tickets for the Nobel Gift Gala in London and two works of art by Pedro Peña<\/strong>, amongst other things.<\/p>\n Other companies also collaborated so that all the money collected, both at the dinner and the auction and raffle will be given to children and families of the three foundations.
